Introduction to Blackjack 17 - Azure at BC.GAME

Blackjack 17 - Azure from Pragmatic Play is a seven-player live casino game where your goal is to win against the Dealer. The objective of Blackjack 17 - Azure at BC.GAME is to have a higher card value than the Dealer, or, to be specific, closer to 21. If your card value exceeds 21, you will automatically lose to the Dealer, no matter what cards they have. Nonetheless, if the total is exactly 21, also known as Blackjack, you will have a 100% chance to win unless the Dealer also has it, in which case it is a draw, and you neither lose nor win.

How to Play

You become a player in Blackjack 17 - Azure at BC.GAME as soon as you sit at the blue velvet cloth table. Pragmatic Play offers a multi-seat option, which allows you to occupy up to two seats simultaneously. When you take a seat, the Dealer welcomes you by pronouncing your name and asking how you are. To proceed further, place a bet in the range of $1 to $1000 in 10 seconds by choosing one of eight casino chips representing $1, $5, $10, $25, $50, $100, $200, and $500. Your bet will be shown in the bottom right corner as Total Bet $0.00. After the bets are closed, the Dealer deals in swift motions one face-up card to each player, starting from the rightmost player and ending with the leftmost one, including themselves, totaling eight face-up cards on the table. Then, the Dealer deals another face-up card to each player, but this time, the Dealer's second card is face down, also known as the hole card, resulting in a total of 14 player face-up cards and one face-up and one face-down Dealer cards. Afterward, the Dealer, starting with the rightmost player, announces their card value and asks what their decision is. There are four actions to choose from - Hit, Stand, Double, and Split.

Hit action is designed as a round green button with a white plus sign in the middle. When pressed, the Dealer will deal one additional card to improve your hand. You can activate Hit multiple times until you choose to Stand or get a total value of 21 and more.

Stand action is depicted as a round red button with a white minus sign in the middle. When pressed, you tell the Dealer that you are comfortable with what you have and want no more cards, after which they will proceed to the next player clockwise.

Double action looks like a round orange button with a white 2x sign in the middle. It is also known as doubling down and doubles your initial bet. The option is available only when you have two cards, and the Dealer deals only one card to you after you press the button and then proceeds to the next player.

Split action is a round blue button with two separate-facing arrow signs. You turn a two-card one-hand game into a one-card two-hand one. Your two cards are split, and you must make an additional bet equal to the original. The Dealer deals an extra card to each hand, totaling four cards or, in other words, two cards for two hands. Split is also known as multi-hand Blackjack.

After the leftmost player or the last player finished with his decisions, the Dealer reveals his hidden card to the players. If the total value is lower or equal to 16, the Dealer will pick an additional card for themselves, and if it is 17 or higher, they will stand. Players with a higher total card value than the Dealer win the round.

One thing to consider is if the Dealer's first card is an Ace, you will be prompted with an Insurance Bet option before the four actions mentioned above are offered, where you can bet on your loss due to the speculation that the Dealer has Blackjack. The Insurance Bet can be a maximum of half your total bet. If the Dealer has a Blackjack, you will lose your total bet and get paid with the placed Insurance Bet, and everything is vice versa if the Dealer loses - you are rewarded with your total bet and lose the Insurance bet.

Once the game round is over, the Dealer will gather all the cards and discard them by placing them into a special spot on the upper left corner of the table.

Cards

There are eight decks of 52 cards, consisting of four suits: clubs, hearts, diamonds, and spades. Each suit has 13 ranks: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Jack, Queen, King, and Ace.
Card Values

  • The numbered cards have the same value as their face value. For example, 2 has a value of 2.
  • Jack, Queen, and King, each equal to 10
  • An Ace can be a 1 or an 11. When you get an Ace, the Dealer asks you what your decision is. It is your choice to consider if your Ace card is equal to 1 or 11.

Special Features

In Blackjack 17 - Azure Pragmatic Play offers you Early, Honest, and Automatic Decision options. The Early Decision feature does exactly what it is named after- when activated, one of four actions - Hit, Stand, Double, and Split, that you selected will be used in preceding rounds automatically. The Honest Decision feature is for the time when you go to the kitchen for a cup of coffee and forget to leave the table. When enabled, it will automatically choose Stand action if your hand score is 12 or more and Hit action if it is 11 or less.   With the Automatic Decision, you can configure the game settings to your own comfort and tell the bot what to do in each situation - when to Stand, Hit, Double, Split, etc.

Strategy for Blackjack 17 - Azure

A Blackjack strategy is quite complicated, but do not despair; we are here to help you win big!

First, you must understand what a hard and soft hand is. A hard hand basically means that you are dealt two cards, and neither of them is an Ace, or you have an Ace, but you chose to consider its value as 1. A soft hand is when you have an Ace with a value of eleven.

Additionally, we recommend not using the Insurance option because the benefits of normal gameplay are much higher than those of the insured one.

Summary

In conclusion, Blackjack 17 - Azure from Pragmatic Play offers you new possibilities at BC.GAME and immerses you in a perfect and welcoming atmosphere of live casino gaming, thanks to the latest technology used to stream the table game and highly-trained, friendly professional Dealers.
